Precision Facades Wrapped 2024

What a year 2024 has been! From a new office and director board to award nominations and charity days, plus lots of exciting new projects across the UK, we’ve been very busy. Here are some of our highlights!

100 projects and counting!

Back in January, we commenced our milestone 100th project to date – phase two of The Manchester College’s city centre campus for our client, Willmott Dixon.

Since then, our team have been kept busy with projects such as Stockport Interchange, The Embankment, Sherlock Street, Bath Junction, The Gateway in Leeds and Gough Street in Birmingham.

A huge thank you to our suppliers and contractors who have worked alongside us this year!

2 award nominations

This year we were over the moon to be named finalists in not one but two coveted industry awards: Specialist Contractor of the Year at the Construction News Specialists Awards and Best New Build Project – North at the Façade Awards for our work at Stockport Interchange.

3 new directors

In April, we welcomed three new directors to the Precision Facade director board to support our growth plans in 2025 and beyond. Congratulations again to Stephen James and Grant Ridler who were promoted to Commercial Directors after being with us for 10 years and Rod Glover who joined us as Technical Director.

£8,130 raised for charity

In 2024 we are proud to have supported three fantastic charities: The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity, SHARE and Novus – Foundations for Change.

We became official company supporters of The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity at the beginning of the year.

In August, following a programme in partnership with Novus and our client, Willmott Dixon at HMP Thorn Cross to introduce modern methods of construction into prison education, we were proud to welcome the first of several participants to our Manchester College site. This was incredibly successful, and we are looking forward to supporting many more participants in the coming year.

Through numerous events and fundraising efforts by our amazing team, including a hike up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and a charity golf day, we were proud to present SHARE Co-Founder, Adam Dandy with a cheque for an incredible £8,130 in October.

2 local sponsorships

In addition to our charity work, we were also happy to confirm our ongoing support our local football team, Chester FC. This partnership saw the Precision Facades logo remain as back of shirt sponsor for all home, away and goalkeeper kits, plus the new black third shirt, as well as our sponsorship of the Hipkiss Stand at Deva Stadium.

We were also proud to lend our support to Chester Racecourse once again, sponsoring two selected races during the 2024 season.

3 accreditations passed with flying colours

Back in March, we announced that we had yet again successfully achieved certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001.

Compliance against these standards demonstrates Precision’s commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction, achieving operational excellence, reducing environmental impact and ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our team.

1 new website

In June we revealed a brand new website with the two things we are most proud of – our work and our team – at the forefront. We also added a new news section where you can keep up to date with all our latest projects and goings on at Precision.

1 new office

And that’s not all that was new in 2024! In November we moved into our new home at Priory Court, Preston Brook, Cheshire, complete with a dedicated games room, gym and lounge, as well as ample office space to accommodate more new members of staff than ever before.

7 years in business

March marked Precision Facades’ 7th year in business. In that time, we’ve come a long way and with our order book currently standing at £50m until 2025, and we’ve got even bigger plans for the future.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish our clients, suppliers, colleagues and partners a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We’ll see you in 2025!
